Riftwalker Chimera sketch. Been doodling off and on but I need to get back into the habit of drawing nearly every day and posting stuff up here. Hoping to get myself kickstarted with moar new moar insane ideas.
had an idea, did a thing—Neo’s character as a “mechanical” noodle (eastern) dragon.
Wanted to get more practice with Neo’s specific glowy effect, as well as try to figure out how to do a hex pattern.

“Riftwalker” forms for Ahkaskar and Aylia, characters from a universe I’ve been designing. Ahkaskar and Aylia are Khelxians. They’re hosts for Riftwalkers, which are symbiotic/parasitic daemons that biologically augment their half-daemon host to make them tougher.
Neither Ahk nor Aylia are perfect examples of riftwalkers, as Ahk’s riftwalker is a hybrid of riftwalker and voidwalker (similar to riftwalkers, but they help stem the corruption that comes from being exposed to the “void” for too long) and Aylia became a half-daemon synthetically, making her color scheme a little brighter.
not tired of drawing Chimera. nope. Just something I did in a little corner of a sketcher room.
Some slight updates to Chimera drawn in a way I’m still sort of wrapping my head around. I’ve sorta made him a little more mantis-like now, so I guess that makes him a lizardmothspidermantisburd chimera?
Neo and Chimera hangin’ out, drinking tea. Technically Neo can’t drink the tea herself since she’s an energy being, but she can find out what it tastes like through Chimera.
I’ve been drawing a lot the past couple days, bouncing ideas back and forth with @NeoGeen on a new “project”. This post is a teaser, one of the best pieces I’ve done in the lot in my opinion.
